After a long drive, we were delighted to find Hotel Camargo in a convenient location near the Santander port. The room was clean and tidy, providing us with a comfortable stay. Despite overlooking the main road, the sound insulation was impressive, and we slept well. The nearby bars and restaurant offered great options for dining. Although the bar and cafe facilities were closed in the evening, we found a bar across the road and a place down the road to eat. our stay at Hotel Camargo was pleasant, and we would recommend it to others.

There was a lot of noise in our room during the night and early morning, which made it difficult to sleep. the air conditioning unit in our room was not working and had not been reported by the previous occupants, leading to some discomfort in the humid weather.

During my stay, I was delighted to discover the hotel’s prime location, making it a great base for business guests headed to the UK via Ferry. The hotel was conveniently close to the ferry terminal, and just a short walk away from beautiful beaches and a range of excellent restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms, which were well-equipped with modern facilities, including free Wi-Fi and sound insulation. The cafe offered a delicious breakfast that was perfect to start my day.

We had a great experience at Camargo. The staff made us feel at home and were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were of good quality. It was also convenient to travel into Santander by train, as the train stop was just a 10-minute walk away. There were also nice restaurants and a cool bar right next door. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Mind-blowing service by the night concierge who recommended an amazing taberna opposite with delicious food and beer despite our poor Spanish. The café served strong coffee that was a perfect start to our day. The room was well-designed with no disturbance from other guests and the en-suite, bed, and furnishings were EXCELLENT. Despite a failed aircon, this hotel surpasses all UK rooms I have stayed in and we would definitely return. A good stopover for the ferry with a Shell station nearby. Highly recommended for its convenience and comfort.

This hotel is located close to some excellent restaurants and a lovely beach. It's also convenient for those leaving for the UK via Ferry. The breakfast and staff were both great.

Conveniently located close to the motorway and ideal for a stopover. Room was spacious and comfortable with free Wi-Fi and a wine chiller. The hotel is family-run with friendly staff, and there's a great restaurant and a pizzeria nearby. The breakfast at the bar was good.

The air-conditioning in the room wasn't working, it was extremely humid and uncomfortable during the night. Also, the hotel isn't situated in the most attractive of areas, and there are no options for food or snacks available on the premises or nearby. It was overall a disappointing stay, and we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, the location was great for exploring the area, and the amenities were top-notch. Plus, I got to try my hand at golfing and horse riding, how posh!
